World's First Whole-body UHF 5T MR uMR Jupiter

An Entirely New Species

The uMR Jupiter represents a groundbreaking evolution in the world of MRI. The brand new 5T superconducting magnet, as well as the RF system design, uses state of the art technology and customized sequences to achieve an entirely new level of innovation. It opens the door to explore new frontiers in ultra-high field (UHF) MRI with exclusive whole-body clinical and research 5T applications, allowing us a further look into "see the unseen". An entirely new species of whole-body MR says hello to the world.

Unleashes a New Era with Innovative Hardware


The 5T magnetic resonance demonstrates elite hardware performance, specifically in four key components: magnet, radiofrequency, gradient, and the gradient power amplifier. The ultra-high field strength of a 5 Tesla magnet significantly improves SNR and resolution. In terms of radiofrequency, the 8-ch parallel transmit coil ensures a uniform and stable radiofrequency field, especially for body imaging. The gradient power amplifier, with a 3.5MW output power, provides abundant energy for the gradient coil.

The independently controlled 8-channel RF transmission architechure enables dynamic real-time B1 field calibration for different patient types. Effectively solving the problem of UHF B1 inhomogeneity to achieve unifrom excitation of the human body and therefore introducing whole-body UHF MR imaging into a clinical setting for the very first time.

The uMR Jupiter, with its innovative magnet design, controls the 5 Gauss fringe field range to be close to that of conventional 3T magnets, setting a new standard and enhancing the desirability of ultra-high-field magnets.
